I decided to take up yoga as a means of taking some time out of my busy schedule to create some personal space for myself, and to enjoy something new. I didn't realise at our first meeting how much I would gain from practicing yoga, and that is testament to Celeste's patience, support and intuitive nature, all of which have allowed me to grow into my practice. I have learnt an awful lot about myself, at both the level of the body and the mind.  Celeste is very adept at making subtle changes to my practice that both enhance my skill level, but also take into account the various issues that might be impacting my life at any given time. This keeps the practice both fresh and relevant to me, and makes the sessions so enjoyable. Working with Celeste has been an absolute pleasure, and her passion for yoga is infectious. Group classes are payable termly.

Students will need their own mats and blocks.

Individual Tuition

Individual classes are available for yoga, yoga therapy and chanting, throughout the year.

Suitable for students who cannot attend a weekly class, or have particular goals such as establishing a personal practice or meditation. For those who have experienced a break in their yoga routine, a few private sessions often helps to reinvigorate a practice .

Students have an initial assessment before the start of one-to-one tuition. All sessions are arranged by prior appointment.                                    Generally classes for yoga and chanting are hourly but may be longer for therapy.

If you are unsure of which to choose, group or private classes, a phone call will often help to clarify thoughts. 

Current fees are available on request by email or telephone.

All individual lessons that are cancelled or missed without 48 hours' prior notice will incur the full fee.

Within 18 months of starting yoga therapy with Celeste my quality of life was completely transformed.

Since my teens I have suffered terribly with chronic inflammatory arthritis called Ankylosing Spondylitis. My disease flares were constant and my movement was severely restricted. I had previously sought help from physiotherapists, osteopaths, and tried acupuncture and hypnotherapy but to no avail.

When I first met Celeste I was at my lowest ebb and couldn’t live with the pain anymore. With complete calm and an inspiring wisdom, Celeste began step by step to support me to restore my well-being. She encouraged me to build a new and gentle relationship with my body through oiling, food, breathing and Vedic chanting. As I grew a little stronger, Celeste designed a manageable practice of yoga that she continues to modify as my body evolves.

The changes in my body and in my pain levels have been remarkable. I am no longer in excruciating pain and can now lay down in bed, sit up unaided and stretch my body without pain. The inflammatory markers in my blood have reduced dramatically, as have the frequency and intensity of my flares which has also meant I have been able to significantly reduce my medication.

Celeste is a truly inspirational teacher who has taught me so much and given me the gift of joy back again. Yoga therapy with Celeste remains an incredibly important part of my life, one that I am immeasurably thankful for.    Kelly F (age 36)
